1. Nature of the Application

Quitchi is a mobile app (iOS and Android) for support and wellness, with a complementary web version, designed to help people in their process of quitting smoking. The application provides:

  • Personal progress tracking with virtual pet Quitchi (levels, evolution, mood)
  • Detailed health and money-saved statistics based on cigarettes avoided
  • Self-care, motivation and relaxation activities with cooldown times for responsible use
  • Daily reflections personalised to your progress

2. Not Medical Advice

The information provided in Quitchi does NOT constitute professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Breathing exercises, relaxation activities and resources provided are general and educational in nature. You should always:

  • Consult a healthcare professional before starting any quit-smoking programme, especially if you have pre-existing medical conditions, take regular medication or are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Follow your doctor's instructions if you are on pharmacological or therapeutic treatment to quit smoking (nicotine patches, medication, therapy)
  • Seek immediate medical attention if you experience concerning symptoms during the cessation process (severe anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, heart problems)
  • Not ignore, delay or discontinue medical treatment because of information in the app. Quitchi is a complement, not a replacement for professional care

3. No Guaranteed Results

We do not guarantee that using Quitchi (free or Premium version) will result in successfully quitting smoking. Quitting smoking is a complex process and results vary from person to person. Success depends on multiple factors, including but not limited to:

  • Personal motivation, commitment and willingness to change habits
  • Individual circumstances, social support and family environment
  • Preexisting physical and mental health conditions
  • Complementary use of other professional resources (therapy, medication, support groups)

4. Limitation of Liability

The creators of Quitchi are not responsible for:

  • Physical or psychological adverse effects related to the process of quitting smoking (withdrawal syndrome, anxiety, mood changes)
  • Personal decisions made based on information in the application, including relapses or discontinuation of professional treatment
  • Data loss, service interruptions, synchronisation errors or technical failures that may affect your experience
  • Unachieved results, unmet expectations or differences between free and Premium features

5. General Information

All health information provided in Quitchi is of a general and educational nature. It may not apply to your specific situation. The benefits of quitting smoking mentioned are based on general research and may vary.

8. Premium Features and Responsible Use

Premium features available by subscription in the mobile apps (unlimited breathing exercises, unlimited wish and reason lists, unlimited Memory and ArmonΓa games, full Greenhouse access) are additional support tools that do NOT guarantee better results than the free version. Success in quitting smoking depends mainly on your personal commitment, not on the specific tools you use. Both versions of Quitchi are designed to provide effective support.

⚠️ Important: The Premium subscription is available in the mobile apps (iOS and Android) and is optional. The free version of the app contains all the essential tools for your smoking cessation process. By using Quitchi (free or Premium version), you acknowledge that you do so at your own responsibility and as a complement to professional medical advice.
