1. Nature of the Application

Quitchi is a mobile support and wellness application (iOS and Android) with a complementary web version, designed to help people in their process of quitting smoking. The application provides:

  • Personal progress tracking with virtual pet Quitchi (levels, evolution, mood)
  • Detailed health and money saved statistics based on cigarettes avoided
  • Self-care, motivation and relaxation activities with cooldown times for responsible use
  • Personalised daily reflections according to your progress
  • Guided breathing exercises (limited in free version, unlimited in Premium)
  • Relaxation games (Memory and Armonía) for anxiety management (limited in free version, unlimited in Premium)
  • Pot and seeds system as a visual incentive for your progress
  • Greenhouse community to share experiences with other users (with content moderation)
  • Custom wish and reason lists to maintain your motivation (limited in free version, unlimited in Premium)

2. Not Medical Advice

The information provided in Quitchi does NOT constitute medical advice, diagnosis or professional treatment. Breathing exercises, relaxation activities and resources provided are of a general and educational nature. You should always:

  • Consult a healthcare professional before quitting smoking, especially if you have pre-existing medical conditions, take regular medication or are pregnant/breastfeeding
  • Follow your doctor's instructions if you are on pharmacological or therapeutic treatment to quit smoking (nicotine patches, medication, therapy)
  • Seek immediate medical attention if you experience worrying symptoms during the cessation process (severe anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, heart problems)
  • Do not ignore, delay or discontinue medical treatments because of information from the application. Quitchi is a complement, not a replacement for professional care

3. Results Not Guaranteed

We do not guarantee that the use of Quitchi (whether free or Premium version) will result in successfully quitting smoking. Quitting smoking is a complex process and results vary from person to person. Success depends on many factors, including but not limited to:

  • Personal motivation, commitment and willingness to change habits
  • Individual circumstances, social support and family environment
  • Preexisting physical and mental health conditions
  • Complementary use of other professional resources (therapy, medication, support groups)
  • Length of tobacco use and level of nicotine dependence
  • Consistency in using the application's tools and activities

4. Limitation of Liability

The creators of Quitchi are not responsible for:

  • Physical or psychological adverse effects related to the process of quitting smoking (withdrawal syndrome, anxiety, mood changes)
  • Personal decisions made based on information from the application, including relapse or discontinuation of professional treatment
  • Data loss, service interruptions, synchronisation errors or technical failures that may affect your experience
  • Results not achieved, unmet expectations or differences between free and Premium features
  • User-generated content in Greenhouse (questions, answers, comments), although we apply moderation
  • Harm resulting from improper use of breathing exercises or relaxation activities

5. General Information

If you experience severe physical or psychological symptoms (for example, intense anxiety, self-harm thoughts, or chest pain), contact emergency services or a local healthcare professional immediately.

💚 Recommendation: Combining Quitchi with professional support significantly increases your chances of success in quitting smoking. Do not hesitate to seek medical and psychological help.

8. Premium Features and Responsible Use

The Premium features available by subscription on the mobile applications (unlimited breathing exercises, unlimited wish and reason lists, unlimited Memory and Armonía games, full Greenhouse access) are additional support tools that do NOT guarantee better results than the free version. Success in quitting smoking depends mainly on your personal commitment and not on the specific tools you use. Both versions of Quitchi are designed to provide effective support.

⚠️ Important: The Premium subscription is available on the mobile applications (iOS and Android) and is optional. The free version of the application contains all the essential tools for your smoking cessation process. By using Quitchi (free or Premium version), you acknowledge that you do so at your own responsibility and as a complement to professional medical advice.
